The Tor di Valle cycle track in Rome has recently been the scene of a violent attack on a cyclist. The dramatic episode has forced the authorities to take prompt security measures to protect the offending section. The first step has been to install a video surveillance system, which currently comprises 12 speed dome cameras linked to the municipality police headquarters. To protect the cameras and ensure better performance, MEDUSA dome housings have been chosen.
