Romanian River Information System for the Naval Traffic on the Romanian Danube RoRIS project aims to implement and integrate a pilot system for managing ship traffic on the Danube on several levels: local, regional and national.
Benefits: implement River Information Services along the entire Danube and on its main navigable tributaries and canals in order to improve traffic safety and the efficiency of transport on the Danube.
The project included a new CCTV systems infrastructure which used ULISSE PTZ cameras with IR illuminators to monitor vessel traffic for their resistance to corrosive environment and day and night duty ability.
